RWA JPMorgan has completed its first cross-border settlement of tokenized assets using its Onyx blockchain platform. The pilot involved tokenized Japanese government bonds settled against tokenized USD deposits.
The transaction demonstrated a reduction in settlement time from T+2 to near-instantaneous, with both counterparties expressing interest in scaling the approach.
