RWA Bitcoin sidechain Liquid has been paused after purported ‘white hats’ withdrew approximately 4,000 BTC ($320M) citing a vulnerability in the Elements protocol. The actors told Blockstream they will return most of the funds once the vulnerability is patched network-wide, raising security concerns for the sidechain ecosystem.
