RWA The Linux Foundation, along with 19 major tech firms including top AI labs and Wall Street banks, has launched Akrites, a security team dedicated to protecting open-source software from AI-powered attacks. This initiative aims to bolster defenses for open-source maintainers who have long lacked such support.
